I grew up watching the Kentucky Derby but didn’t follow horse racing closely — not until Disney released Secretariat in 2010. The trailer looked so good that I went to see it on opening day with my family. I’ve been a fan of Secretariat ever since, and the movie made my Top 10 Horse Movies of All Time list.

My family and I went to see the new
Secretariat Movie on Friday. It was a great movie for the entire family. I wasn't sure if it would be good enough to add to my
Top 10 Horse Movies of All Time list but it was. It was beautifully filmed, the cast was perfect and the story kept you entertained. The best part is that it was a good story that did not need tragedy or abuse to make it interesting. It was difficult to decided where to place this movie on the top 10 list. So, I decided to rank it high due to the lack of tragedy, abuse and other heart wrenching content. Take a look,
