Horse Themed Valentine's Day Cakes and Cupcakes

This cute horse cake was originally created as a birthday cake. However, it would make a fabulous Valentine's Day cake. It could also be made by using a heart shaped cake pan and then apply any type of horse cake topper.  Mini versions of these would make great cupcakes. 

 
First make heart shaped cupcakes. 

Then add small horse figurines or create cute little fondant horses and place them on the heart shaped cupcakes.  Take a look at the video below for easy instructions on how to create a cute fondant pony.
